Edmond has a ton of fun things to do around Halloween time. Which gave us multiple reasons to dress up. First up was Story Book Forest out by Acadia Lake. Kids dress up and you walk through the forest, stopping at characters from Children's Nursery Rhymes and famous stories. I think its very lame, but the boys love it. Plus they get candy at every stop. What's not to love?
Next, was our Ward Fall Festival, which was planned by the Primary Presidency. It was so fun. Chili Cook Off. Corn Bread Cook Off. Cake Walk. Face Painting. Costumes. Trunk or Treating. More fun.
Then on another night, we ventured up to our MAC, Multipurpose Activity Center, to participate in more carnival games, made a spider out of pipe cleaner and watched Pumpkins get thrown from homemade catapults.
Finally, Halloween came. We headed to downtown Edmond and trick or treated at all the shops and restaraunts. Bounced on bounce houses and visited with good friends. Once we made the rounds, we headed home to trick or treat in our neighborhood. Rocco was excited to be outside roaming freely. The boys were so stoked. Well Graham was excited 5 houses worth. And then was done. He sat in the house next to the front door and ate candy while watching me hand out candy to the Trick or Treaters.
Glad Halloween is over. I think we have candy to last us all year...

HISTORY OF THE SKELETON COSTUME
Someone gave us the skeleton sweats when Brode was a baby. I wanna say Uncle Bruce and Aunt Wendy. Not 100% sure. Each one of our boys has been skeleton, their 2nd Halloween.
