Happy Halloween!

We celebrated the night right with candy, Grandparents, Chili with Cornbread and donuts. Yum!
Here are some pictures of our night of Trick or Treating.

This house always goes all out for Halloween.
Brode was a little freaked out. Rightfully so.

My Sweet Cow.

Brode didn't learn to say "trick or treat". But boy did he learn to go up to each and every house and knock. He wanted more Candy.

Big Weekend of Fun!

This past week was a doozy for us. Micron had asked for Volunteers for Lay-offs. Micah and I were so excited. He doesn't want to work late nights any longer and I would so love to have my husband, my protector at home with me at nights. So he jumped on the chance to get laid off with an amazing severance package. We'll he went into work on Tuesday and found out he wasn't getting laid off right now. We were so bummed and completely heart-broken.
To make up for it, we decided to spend our time as a family doing lots of fun things to keep our mind off of our let-down.

Thursday night after dinner we went out for ice cream at my favorite place. Maggie Moos. I love love love Maggies Fudge with peanut butter sauce. So yummy! (I ate so much of this when I was pregnant with Brode, the store was so close to our house back then). Brode got Cotton candy. We asked him what color and he said blue. But to tell you the truth it was Delicious!!!!
My blue-baby boy.

Micah and I stole alot of Brode's yummy blue ice cream. It seriously was so good and I mean, come on, it is not like he would have or even should have eaten it all on his own.

Friday night, of course, was spent watching BSU play. We have our Season Tickets to Mike and Cassie Sheltons theater room. Nothing is sweeter than sitting on the most comfortable leather couch, in the dark, with just Micah, Cassie and Mike, drinking all the Diet Coke and eating all the candy and popcorn we can stand (without paying money) and watching the game on a huge Projection Screen TV in Hi-Def. Oh thank you!

Then Saturday Morning, we had a Halloween "Dress Rehearsal". The Boise Zoo was hosting its annual BOO at the ZOO on Saturday. All the kids dressed in there Halloween Costumes and walked around looking at all the animals. They had people handing out candy too. It was a lot of fun, but there were alot of people there. Needless to say, we did not stay long.
Graham the "cow"
Micah, "milking" the cow. Haha!

Daddy and his little "Ninja" getting candy.

Brode loved this "horsey".

After the Zoo, we headed over to the park, so Brode could get in some much needed swing time.

Then it was lunchtime. We got burgers and fries and had a picnic on Simplots Hill. This is our favorite spot. Micah and I had many dates here before we got married. In fact this is where Micah proposed.

Brode explored. He climbed up the hill. He was so afraid to walk back down because it was so steep. So he scooted down it on his bum.
Then on his tummy.

This weekend was so much fun. I hope we have many more fun times!

Just for Fun

Graham loved this.
I don't think I have heard him giggle this much.
He loves his Brother.

Graham wasn't feeling well. Ear Infection.
His Daddy used this time to get in some snuggles.

Loves this toy. Tackles the bar to the ground.

He caught the Lady Bug. Do you see him concentrating on it?

No good can come of this!
What's next I wonder?

Ah! Little Monkey, climbing in to Graham's Bed.

This does not look good.

Happy Birthday My Love!

Today we celebrated my Sweetheart. He turned a whopping 26 Years Old. I love celebrating him. I am so glad that 26 years ago, my dear Mother -in-law pushed the big 11 pound baby out, so that he could today be my sweet husband and father of my boys.

Micah-
Brode, Graham "the Ham", and I love you so very much. And appreciate all the hard work you do to provide for us.
Happy Birthday!

My Favorite Age

Finally.....

Last Night Micah and I took the boys out for a much needed Family Activity. With school, work and the other work, along with studying for the LSAT, Micah hasn't had much time to spend with us. So we headed out to Linder Farms for the Hay Rides, The Pumpkin Patch, Pony Rides, Corn Mazes and much more.

It was of course was a little chilly. About 50 degrees. None the less we bundled up and celebrated the season.

Brode had a blast. It was extremely kid friendly. He was able to run free and check everything out. Brode rode the Tractor Train, we all rode the Hay Ride, we saw a camel and ponies, Brode got lost in the Kiddie Hay Maze and bounced on the Bouncy Castle. It was such a joy to spend the time with my little family. Graham did great, too. He just snuggled up to his Moma in his Snugli and watched all the people and his silly brother.

Here are a few pictures to show you the fun.

Food Storage!

One of my dearest friends and I have been swapping helpful tips for budgeting and food storage. She informed me of a way to make super duper easy bread and sent me in the direction of a website for it. She also shared the most amazing Food Storage Blog.

So if any of you are having a difficult time figuring out where to begin with food storage or need helpful ideas, well here you go!

The "Ham"

It comes with the territory. All children must endure the painfully ridiculous nicknames their parents think of while they are young. Poor Graham is suffering. Lets see.... Ham, Hamster, Hammy, Grammy, Gramsters, Grammers, Sunshine Bear (given to him by the nurse in the delivery room) and most importantly Brother (by Brode). It doesn't matter, though, what we call him, because he will always be our sweet little Graham Philip.

Fun Stuff. At 5 months Graham can roll from his tummy to his back. And he "accidentally" rolls onto his tummy from his back. Usually when he is reaching for something. He holds onto his toys and reaches for things. He'll reach for his mommy or daddy and he even reaches for Brode. I love their relationship. Graham will just watch Brode and smile. Brode will make him laugh and talks to him in the car when he is upset. The other day we were driving somewhere and I was out in "la-la" land when all of a sudden I heard Graham giggling. This caught my attention and I listened to what was going on in the backseat. Brode was making "razzing" noises to Graham and in return Graham laughed. It was such a sweet moment and a glimpse into what is to come. My sweet boys playing together.
