Shelton Girls one last time.

Last weekend Micah and I house-sat and kid-sat for Micah's sister while they went on a short Motorcycle trip. Of course we were super excited to "play-house" for 5 days and experience, one last time, what life would be like with 6 kids. Here's what we did!

Friday and Saturday was spent playing "Rock-Band"!

The "twins" got kicked out of the theater room while we played

Rock-Band. So they played in Abbigals room instead.

Sunday. We woke up and made it to church on time. In fact we may have been 2 minutes early. I consider that quiet an accomplishment for having 6 kids to get ready instead of our usual 2. I made Pot Roast with carrots and sweet onions, with mashed potatoes for dinner and then we went on a walk around the neighborhood.

On Monday we spent most of the early afternoon at Roaring Springs. We was a little chilly so we didn't stay long. But there weren't many people there to begin with so we got a lot of swimming and slides in before we froze to death. 

We took a short break from all the watery fun for lunch. I packed

a lunch and we sat outside for a picnic. Then we

headed back in for just another hour. 

Monday Night for FHE we ate Hotdogs outside on the porch, played Kick Ball, has Rice Krispie Treats and a sweet little lesson from Uncle Micah.

Tuesday we spent cleaning the house and doing laundry. We also went for a short time to Settler's Park to release some energy!

We had such a great time. Brode and Graham love playing with those girls. We will miss Sadie, Abby, Lily and Clara so very much. We will miss these times when we get to "play-house". We love them so much!
