Brode totally digs super hero's. Namely Batman.
We spent the morning at the Dallas World Aquarium.
Birds. Monkey's. Sharks. Fish. Manatee's.
Graham loves leaves. He held on to this sucker all day.
Batman and Robin looking for "nemo".
After the Aquarium we went to lunch, where Brode got a free
Ice Cream Sundae and they sung "Happy Birthday" to him.
Later, Batman turned into Superman, thanks to Grandma Cheryl.
The big 4 year old got his first bike.
He is in love.
Lil' Batman had a hard time sharing the spotlight with
his big brother. Needless to say it was an emotional
day for him.
Brode loved his helmet too.
And his new Fishing Game.
Over the past few weeks, we've seen a transformation in Brode. He is becoming such a kid. Good-bye Toddler. Hello Preschool Big Boy.
-He eats now. Toddlers don't eat much. At least our toddlers. Now Brode devours every meal, with little convincing on our part.
-Loves Batman. He shouts "engage!" Then takes off running.
-He uses phrases like:
After I got Graham out of bed, Brode woke and began looking for his blanket. He then says, "Go ahead. I'll catch up!"
While singing with him one night before bed, I began a song that apparently he didn't feel I could sing so he said, "Mom, I got this one." Then proceeds to sing it alone.
My big boy all growing up.
