What We've Been Up To

Every Thursday, Micah takes Brode to the Little Gym, or "Gym" as Brode calls it. They do a lot of fun activities like singing, run or dance in circles, walk on a balance beam, do summer-salts, and swing on a bar, which is Brode fave!  He does so great there. Brode is usually the first to do something that Ms. Laura teaches them. Today I took Brode for the first time while Micah had a meeting to attend. It was awesome to watch him behave so well in a structured environment. He is in a class with younger kiddos, they are all about 15- 23 months old. I was afraid he might be too rough with them but he is so good and sweet and loves to share with them. He is also learning to clean up after himself, like helping put the balls or scarves away -and he is usually the first one. I love it. "Gym" is teaching him so many great things!

Swing Brode!

The past few Saturdays Micah and I have packed up the car with the babies and lots of goodies, drinks, sunscreen, the stroller, and some camping chairs and we headed out to watch Abby (our niece) play soccer and Gus (our nephew) play tackle football. The kids are so great while we sit and watch them play. Brode loves watching his cousin Gus and gets so excited when we tell him we are going to see him. He also loves loves loves his Aunt Nora. She always has the greatest snacks and she has the coolest toy -it is her IPhone and she lets Brode play some of the games
 on it.
Brode is waiting patiently for Aunt Nora to find the Fish Game on her phone.

In the evenings we wind down at home. Graham has had a lot of floor and tummy time. Although the tummy time does not last long. It is not that he doesn't mind being on his tummy but it's that he has learned to roll onto his back. He has mastered that roll and I think it won't be long for him to roll onto his tummy from his back. Awe, so much fun!!!
This mat and boppy help keep Graham on his tummy.
Reach Graham! This caterpillar is his most favorite toy. He loves to wrap his arms around it and bite it.
