Spring Break 2013- Day One

For our Spring Break "Stay-cation" we had two goals in mind.
1. Appease the All-Dayer.
Graham goes to school for only half of the day, while Brode spends all day at school missing out on things like the museum, zoo, eating lunch at McDonalds. So we came up with every fun thing Brode misses out on and we did it!
2. Operation Engery
We focused on staying busy. We didn't fill our days with too many things, but the things we did, we tried to burn as much energy as possible. And let me tell you, it worked. Rocco added 1.5 hours to all his naps and still went to bed at 7pm. It was awesome.
Micah spent this week in Ohio. We missed him. Which is another reason why we needed to stay busy: to make the time go by faster!!

Day One: Monday
We started this day off with sleeping in. A luxury our boys quite enjoy. Well, except for Mr. Rise-and-Shine-at-6:00am-Rocco. After breakfast, we darted over to the Library. A place we are all quite fond of. The children's area is so nice and the libraries are so kind to Mr. Rocco, who likes to explore.

Nigh-Night.

Graham's favorite section are the Paperback Books. It is full of his type of stories:
Batman, Star Wars, SuperHeros

Computer Games

We headed home for lunch and Rocco's naps. The boys colored quietly for a while and then watched Stuart Little 2, for the first time. They love mice. Really really love mice. So this movie was a hit. Next I think we'll read the stories to them.

After napping, it was snacks and the Rocket Park. Burn engery. Burn.
Dual Survivor: trying to start a fire

Next, we went out to eat. Something we never do with the boys. But thought it be a fun treat for our Spring Break. Micah left early the next morning for Ohio, so it was a fun time to spend with him.

Woo Hoo! Love, love love it all. The photos are FAB! What a fun week. You really are a 'nice' and awesome mom. It was so fun to see them being active and also the concentration at the C's museum. Wow, what gorgeous brown eyes. What happy kids. I think the painting activity photo would make a great updated cover photo for the blog -- not that you should get rid of that cute baby being kissed. They are all growing! Love you.
