We packed our bags and loaded the car the night before. We even took showers and laid our clothes out. This morning all we had to do was get dressed and brush out teeth. Then we were out the door. With the Kormylos. Jean and Phil treated us to an early morning Cracker Barrel Breakfast to fill our tummies and send us on our way. It was such a nice treat. Then we hit the road and headed to Kaysville, Utah.
Other than Rocco filling his diaper with stinkyness several times, this trip was uneventful. Mom, Brianne, and the "J" boys followed us a few miles back. Well more like several miles back.
Once in Kaysville we ate lunch and quickly changed our clothing to head to Lagoon for some family fun. My Mom and Aunt Luanne stayed back and took care of my baby. Giving him a nap and attempting to fed him. Brianne and the "j" boys and the rest of our gang headed straight to the water park at Lagoon. We changed into swim suits and jumped in the water quickly. They were in heaven. Graham was a little more cautious. But Brode was not. I couldn't keep up with him. I explored everywhere. Micah convinced him to try one of the tube slides. Brode was brave and loved it. The went down them continuously. Luckily for us, the water park wasn't too busy, so the line wasn't long. Graham decided he wanted to go too. So we went down. He had to slide down and enclosed slide all by himself. He loved it! Well the first time. There's four slides. All different "rides". The 2nd time he went down a different one and apparently a scary one. He was a stiff scared little boy when he met me at the bottom of the slide. I picked him up and carried him to the kiddie part of the water park. But he was done. 20 minutes later he was out. Fell asleep in my arms.
Then randomly we ran into friends from Boise. The Manwarings. It was so great to see them and such a coincidence. Too bad Graham was napping. We were done at the water park and headed to ride some rides.
Nifty little wagon Aunt Bri got him to crash in. He slept for a good
1 or so, before we woke him. Meanwhile, Brode and Micah
rode a roller coaster (kiddie, but intense for kiddie) twice.
I grab them some ice cream. Once chocolate. Once vanilla.
Hoping this would wake up my sleeping baby.
It worked.
Then it was time for the rides!
All of us on the kiddie swings.
Josh and Graham on one side.
I don't think that Graham knew what he was getting into.
This ride went up and then dropped down. Back up. Then down.
He seemed to look freaked. But Josh said he was fine.
Brode and Jordan on the other side.
So loving every minute of it.
Rocket ships again.
We rode all the rides we could possibly. The boys loved it. Almost beat out Boating with Uncle Brandon as the best day of our trip. We also went of the raging rapid boat/tube thing. I think 3 or 4 times. Lost count. We loved it. This ride pulled Micah out of his grumpy mood (thank heavens). Then my Mom, Stephanie, Blythe and my BABY met us with some sandwiches and treats. Man were we hungry. Stephanie and Graham formed an immediate bond. I was quite surprised. He loved her and wanted to ride some rides with her. Stephanie took Graham on a roller coaster and took both Brode and Graham on the Scrambler and the Tilt-a-Whirl. They loved it. She told them that it would "tickle" their tummies. Brode was so confused. His tummy never got tickled ;) The last ride was the train. My mom wanted to ride it so we all went, except for Micah and Rocco (the carousel freaked Rocco, so we didn't think he'd do well on the train). Then we headed home.
Next up, sleeping in the tent.
Stephanie go this wild idea she would sleep with all 4 boys out in
the tent. I thought for sure she had lost her mind. I thought for sure
it would be a long noisy night. But she said it went really well.
Micah and I were surprised we didn't get a call at 3am to come out
and get one of our boys. They just loved it and did great.
Thanks Amy for the flashlights.
Thanks Stephanie for the memories.

The next morning was breakfast at Granny Annies. You can not take a trip to Kaysville and not have a scone from Granny Annies. Then we headed back to aunt Luanne's packed everything up and hit the road. We had a long two days of driving home.
We took a different way. Micah didn't want to drive through Kansas and he was dying to see New Mexico. I told him he wasn't missing much. But he insisted. I will admit, driving through Moab and southern Utah is pretty cool. But New Mexico is awful. Not to mention driving on a highway. There's not a whole lot of cell phone service and micah's internet connection came and went. This proved to be quite the pain in the butt when we tried to find a hotel for the night. Not to mention everything was booked. I stressed, until we pulled in to Albuquerque and Micah finally found us a bed to sleep in. The next day was a nice and short day. We made it home! Such a fun and memorable trip
