A Day in the Life of Series, Part 2

A day in the life of Brode. Mr. Personality. Little Booboo Bear.

7:00am

Rise and Shine

Alarm goes off.

 7:15am

Awake. Dressed. Made his bed.

So proud of himself.

7:17am

Say "good morning" to Little Roc!

 7:30am

Breakfast. Typically a yogurt and 1 waffle.

 7:45am

Making a jelly sandwich for his lunch. He decided to take over

making his lunch, because I don't do it right, apparently.

 8:10am

Begins to put the dishes away. His morning chore

every morning except for Sunday. He is amazing at it.

So much better than his Dad. We decided this would be his chore. So I set aside an entire week to show him how to put the dishes away. There was no need. On day one, he took over. He stacked things up. Put them in the correct spots. It's amazing how observant kids are. Well at least this one. I so don't give him enough credit.

Headed out the door to school.

On most days, Micah takes Brode to school. But this week Micah spent a lot of time in Tulsa. So the whole crew had to be out the door early every morning.

Of course, Rocco is not happy about being in the car. 

Brode works his magic as best he can to keep this little guy happy.

Brode walking into school.

I can't believe he just walks right up to the school and goes inside it and heads to the gym to wait with the rest of his class. It seems like someone should walk him in there. But he is such a big kid. I just can't believe it. He is so independent.

Brode is out of school and being silly.

It is crazy to me that he is gone all day long. It just doesn't seem right. But at the same time it does. He loves school and lives for that type of structure and socialization school gives him.

 After school snack of apples and a fruit snack.

Dinner time. No pictures of this. Dinner this evening was not a pleasant experience. Everyone was crabby. Rocco choked, bad, on his chicken. Graham spilt his full glass of pop on my just mopped floors. It is definitely Friday. Everyone has had it.

Story time with Dad.

8:00pm

Since it is Friday, that means it is Movie Night. Typically we watch together, but the BSU Football games was on, so Micah watched that and the boys had a movie theater in Brode's room.
