We got to the ball park early.

And then the rain came. Hard and fast.
We hid under the stadium until it cleared. Then wiped our seats off and sat down. Only to notice the dark clouds all around us. Then they announced that the game would be delayed at least another hour. "Forget that!!" It was already after 7. We didn't know how much longer we wanted to wait around. We didn't know how much time the boys had before some major meltdowns. So, just as it started to sprinkle again, we decided to throw in the towel. We had fun, but didn't want to wait anymore. So we headed out to the car and got completely drenched by the time we got to our car. Gotta love the rain in Texas. We are hoping they "officially" cancel the game so we can get rain-checks and come another time.

Well it sounded like a fun activity. I am so sorry about the rain....sounds like you all are enjoying every minute of your time in Texas.
Gotta love the weather in Texas, it's either hotter than hell or raining a down pour. They do everything in Texas BIG. Your outing sounds so fun. I'm so glad you are liking Texas and having so much fun!!!!
That is too bad about getting rained out. But I seriously love all the fun things you guys are doing! I think it is great!
