Big 5 Year Old

Last Sunday Brode Turned 5. The moment he turned 4, he could not wait to turn 5. Brode was so easy to please this year. He made it very clear what he wanted as gifts. He choose a very easy theme of colorful dots and new exactly what he wanted for his special birthday dinner : warm cheesy sandwiches with cookies.

MY BRODE

-Brode is the funniest and sweetest child. He is very compassionate and loving.

-Insists on dressing himself. The style is always the same for school. Shorts and a T-shirt with a button down shirt over it with the top button done.

-He is an excellent cleaner and loves to have his room organized with his shoes in a perfect line under his bed.

-Brode loves to be the "dumper" when cooking.

-Hates to go to bed and talks/sings/jibber-jabbers until the moment he crashes. (this kid is non-stop sometimes

-Loves to be read to and learns the lines to stories so quickly, he'll often put his hand over my mouth, so that he can recite the page we are on.

-Knows Articles of Faith 1-4

-Loves to ride his bike.

-Takes great care of Rocco and is such a great helper. He feeds him, sings to him, and plays with him.

The highlight of his birthday was opening HIS computer.

I loved how Graham sat right next to him, so

interested in what Brode was opening.

Other gifts : shirts, underwear, a lamp, puzzles,

remote control 4-wheeler, Thor Helmet, Sword,

and Shield, Roller Skates (passed down from J&J),

UT Jersey, and Games for his Leapster.
