New Toys and a Big Three Year Old

As we unpacked we stumbled upon a whole new world. A long lost world of lost treasures, rather toys. We had most of the boys' toys packed away in in storage bins in the storage unit for the last 7 months. So unpacking these toys we haven't seen in so long was much like Christmas. The house was covered with rediscovered toys. They could not get enough of the toys. The pick one up and start playing with it then spy something else and head over to that toy. It has been quite entertaining.

Brode is not quite 3 (month and a half until) but he sure is maturing. During this whole process we've seen a huge change in Brode. All a sudden he is this different more grown-up child. He'll sit in his room for quite awhile and play with his choo-choo, trucks, etc and most of it is pretend play. It's so exciting to see the first signs of his imagination. I Love It! And he is doing much better as a big brother. Micah has been encouraging the boys to keep toys in their room. So Brode is responsible for keeping Graham occupied in his room, playing. Brode will get toys for Graham and play with him. It is so great. We are on the bottom floor in our apartment. And we have this awesome back patio. It (like most of the apartment) is large. Brode and Graham go out and play together. Brode can drive around in his car and Graham plays with the wagon. Again, Brode helps encourage Graham to go out and play with him. Man this is such a great time.

Brode is asleep. This is where he landed during nap time.

Cute brothers playing together on our back patio.

Mr. Conductor with his choo-choo and "all-aboard whistle".

Linds,
I am so glad that your apartment is so wonderful for you. I am so glad that you are excited about and can see all the possibilities of living in Dallas. Three-year-olds are predictably
"delightful". It is a wonderful age where they are so curious and feel very capable. It won't last so enjoy it!
Love ya.
